Nursery Practitioner Roles (Multiple available)

The role of the Nursery Practitioner is to ensure that all children attending The Elms receive high-quality care, are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs and support all aspects and components of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. This role will entail light domestic duties as and when required in the playrooms.

Full-time salary is typically in the range £18,602 to £19,200, with potential progression once in post to £22,152.

Nursery Assistant

Would you like to nurture the next generation? As a Nursery Assistant, you’ll help us deliver high-quality care to our children and ensure they receive rich and stimulating play experiences that meet their individual needs, in line with the Birth to 5 Matters framework. You’ll carry out light domestic duties when required across our playrooms and look after children up to the age of five. You’ll therefore need to be flexible and have the know-how to adapt your practice to suit all age ranges.

Full-time starting salary is normally around £18,533 per annum, with potential progression once in post to £19,680.

The Maples Day Nursery

Nursery Practitioner

A number of Nursery Practitioner part-time and full-time vacancies are available at The Maples. We are a friendly and supportive team, working together to provide quality childcare and a stimulating environment. The Maples is curiosity led and its practices places sustainability at its heart, making it a fulfilling and unique setting to work in.

You’ll have a Level 3 childcare and education or equivalent qualification, experience in a similar setting, and be comfortable with working flexible hours. Contracts are available for both 25 and 36 hours per week.
