Nursery Assistant – part-time

The Elms Day Nursery is offering a part-time role for 10 hours a week, from 07:30-09:45 and 15:30-17:30 all year round, working with a friendly team in an excellent environment. You’ll have a level 2 childcare and education or equivalent qualification, experience in an early years setting, and the ability to establish positive relationships with children. Flexible nursery staff – part-time/bank

We are looking to establish a list of approved flexible and consistent staff for The Elms Day Nursery. The role will be called upon to cover staff shortages as and when they arise. This is a part-time bank/supply staff role and there are no guaranteed hours of work or bookable holidays.

The nursery operates 50/51 weeks of the year from 07:30-17:55 for University staff, students and the wider community. You will need a level 2 or above in childcare and education or equivalent qualification, experience in an early setting, and ability to establish positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
