The Elms Day Nursery
Nursery Practitioner
The role of the Nursery Practitioner is to ensure that all children attending The Elms Day Nursery receive high quality care, are kept safe, and receive rich and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs and support all aspects and components of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. This role will entail light domestic duties as and when required in the playrooms.
Job type: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Salary: £25,618 to £27,126

SENCO and Inclusion Coordinator
The role of the Nursery SEND and Inclusion Lead is to help ensure the setting is inclusive for every child, regardless of background, ability, language, or circumstance. Alongside our wider teams, they will embed inclusive values, practice, and culture across the whole setting with a focus on equity, access, and participation for all children. The SEND and Inclusion Lead will support management in ensuring that all children attending the University of Birmingham Nurseries receive high-quality care and education in a safe and secure environment where they feel welcomed and valued, with the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Job type: Full time
Salary: £27,546 to £29,171, with potential progression once in post to £32,595

The Oaks Day Nursery
Nursery Practitioner
You will provide high quality care, learning and development for all children attending the Nursery. You will ensure that children are safe, happy and stimulated with their individual needs met, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS). You will also carry out light domestic duties. In order to flexibly use resource you may be given the opportunity to work in different areas of the department or wider University.
