Applying for a place at Birmingham Day Nurseries: all you need to know
Applying for a nursery place for your child is simple: just a few forms to fill in. It’s the same application process for The Elms, The Oaks and The Maples.
First, you need to send us your initial application. You need to know which sessions or days you’d like to apply for, and at which nursery. You’ll also be asked to read some General Information, which contains essential details about our legal responsibilities to your child, as well as useful practical details about nursery procedures.
If your chosen nursery has availability, you’ll be sent details of how to access the full application process. You’ll also have the opportunity to request a tour, before you make this big commitment. Unfortunately, we can’t promise to accommodate your needs – but we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
Once we’ve confirmed your child’s place, we’ll send you details of how and when to pay your £60 registration fee and your £250 deposit (which will be discounted off your first monthly bill). You’ll be able to make this payment online, or by personal cheque or cash. You can view full nursery fees and information about your 30 hours’ entitlement here.
Please note: submitting an application does not guarantee your child a place at nursery. We’d love to say yes to everyone, but we won’t always have availability for the hours that you need. Apply as early as you can! Then wait for us to get in touch.
